Pampas grass

I can grow Pampas grass!  You might react, “Well, swell…”  Or you might respond by inquiring, “What the heck is Pampas grass?”

Several goals in my life have been years in the making.  (I’m pretty good at delayed gratification.)  There are the children, of course.  There is my new book, Captain Derek’s Dolphin Magic Boat, illustrated by one of the aforementioned children.  And, there is Pampas grass.

Let’s take these accomplishments one celebration at a time.  The kids, all great.  The middle child, Jana, germane to the second accomplishment as she is its illustrator and in essence, also its narrator.

Jana was the first mate on the Dolphin Magic Boat while she was simultaneously a student at the Savannah College of Art & Design.

Jana and I think that anyone who loves coastal Georgia, especially the Tybee Island and Savannah areas, will want to have this historical, scientific, and regional amusements illustrated guide as a memento of their visit.  If you haven’t yet visited, put it on the ol’ bucket list and get ‘er done! (Texas Panhandle speak)

More about the book, and of course Pampas grass to come.
